• Responsible for the safe operation of an asphalt coater machine
• Always assists machine operator
• Loads full rolls of paper on unwind machine
• Reviews the quality of the paper to make sure quality specifications are met
• Sets up automatic splicing machine and operating parameters
• Threads paper and assists operator at web breaks
• Assists operator to setup and run the printing section
• Assists in all product changeovers
• Checks product parameters to make sure production specifications are met
• Control waste flow to paper baler, operate paper bailer
• Unloads master rolls from down under equipment, uses overhead hoist to locate rolls at cuffers (1,2,3)
• Perform 5S and housekeeping functions while machine operates
• Operate a touch screen display and make minor control adjustments to maintain paper tension and asphalt flow
• Follow safety practices and use required PPE

• The base hourly rate for this position is $20.50
