• This role is essential for managing relationships with progressive accounts farming over 2,500 acres
• Role Purpose: You will be the primary relationship manager and trusted advisor for key agricultural accounts in Central Illinois
• Craft and execute commercial strategies tailored to the unique needs of farmers in your region
• Develop and nurture relationships as the single point of contact for significant agricultural accounts
• Proactively engage with farmers to understand their operations and challenges, specifically targeting those with over 2,500 acres
• Provide insights based on analytics to help growers make informed decisions
• Connect farmers to the best Syngenta solutions to address their pain points and operational challenges
• Create personalized engagement plans to enhance each farmer’s experience
• Negotiate complex agreements with farmers that focus on mutually beneficial outcomes while managing budget considerations
• Advise farmers on best practices to maximize yield and profitability through tailored product and service recommendations

Build and maintain a robust network of farmers, agronomists, and industry leaders to add value to farming operations

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, Business, Agronomy, or Agricultural Science
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in production agriculture, including seed sales and agronomy
• Must reside in the operational territory
• Proven experience working with growers of 2,500+ acres
• Strong understanding of farm operations, including grower P&L
• Demonstrated sales success and a solid network within the agricultural sector
• Expertise in agronomy, seed products, and digital tools
• Experience managing medium to large-scale agricultural businesses
• Ability to foster strong relationships with large-scale growers beyond product knowledge
