• The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons
• Full time candidates MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS!
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes

Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

Must have a current and valid armed VA DCJS license (MUST HOLD A VIRGINIA STATE DCJS ARMED LICENSE)

• 2 years previous experience in armed security, law enforcement, corrections, or active duty military

Strong attention to detail

Must be capable of standing, walking, climbing stairs, running, physically restraining a violent person, lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs

• Salary: $18.00 per hour
