  • This dynamic role will serve as the primary relationship manager and trusted advisor to progressive farming operations managing over 2,500 acres
  • Role Purpose: The Strategic Farm Business Partner will focus on building relationships and providing tailored solutions for large-scale farmers in your territory
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies tailored to individual farmer needs and the competitive landscape
  • Lead relationship development and serve as the single point of contact for key accounts
  • Engage proactively with farmers to understand their operations and unique requirements
  • Provide early farm insights through analytical tools to support growers
  • Connect farmers with the ideal Syngenta solutions to address their daily challenges
  • Design personalized touchpoint plans to enhance the farmer experience
  • Manage complex negotiations to strengthen relationships and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes while overseeing budget allocations
  • Advise farmers on operational optimizations to maximize yield and profitability with our products and services

Create and sustain a robust network with farmers, academics, agronomists, and other stakeholders

Требования

  • Must reside within the designated territory
  • Proven history of effectively selling and servicing large growers with over 2,500 acres
  • Solid understanding of grower profit and loss, along with day-to-day farm operations
  • Demonstrated success in building a book of business and driving sales growth
  • Expertise in agronomy, including deep knowledge of seed products and digital tools
  • Experience managing medium to large-scale agricultural business operations
  • Established contacts with major farming accounts of 2,500+ acres and capability to handle multi-million-dollar sales processes
  • Strong ability to foster personal and strategic relationships with significant growers beyond Syngenta product knowledge

Capability to identify key issues and pain points for large growers and develop actionable plans to address them

Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, Business, Agronomy, or Agricultural Science, along with 3-5 years of experience in production agriculture (Seed sales, Agronomy, Grain Origination, Crop Protection, Digital Ag)
