- The candidate will work with cross-sector employees & teams to provide rapid responses to resolve engineering disturbance notices related
- In addition, the candidate will perform engineering steps listed in the production operator dashboard (POD) to support output
- This role will be 2nd shift Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm
- Spends 75% of time in the Cleanroom supporting production processes and leading troubleshooting actions
- Troubleshoot mechanical assembly and glass to metal bonding, and tooling/test stand issues in a timely & efficient manner
- Ability to safely and effectively work with epoxy debonding tools, heat guns and fume hoods
Ability to use cleaning solvents safely, per EHS guidelines, to troubleshoot and remove product contamination ability to interpret mechatronic signal process and reports required
- Support analysis on test data and derive conclusions
- Develop OCAPs, Fishbones and troubleshooting guidelines
- Evaluate and disposition failed parts with proposed solutions
- Support development of Manufacturing procedures and technical work instructions, and design reviews
- Support root cause and cycle time analysis as needed
- Able to read mechanical, electrical and optical drawings
- The employee is willing to provide occasional weekend coverage
The employee is required to work in a cleanroom environment: full gowning (full body coveralls, hood, CR safety shoes, face mask, nitrile gloves and safety glasses
- Working under ISO 9000/14000 standards)
- Working around overhead cranes, fork trucks and motorized pallet movers
- Working with or around lasers; working with ladders; working on platforms; and working around chemicals
