About the team

Company Tax is one of Company’s most requested products and has grown rapidly since it launched in 2021. The product solves an urgent need for almost everyone that sells something online. We provide solutions for calculating and reporting sales tax, VAT, and GST for over 40 countries. The product integrates seamlessly with other Company products but can also be used by merchants not using Company for payments. Our design team creates the user experiences for tax calculations, no-code and low-code integrations, registrations, and reporting. These workflows touch some of the most used surfaces in the Company dashboard. Because it’s a newer offering, we have much to build and there are many opportunities for high impact.

• What you’ll do

In this role you’ll work on a mix of new feature development and product quality improvements to our most frequently used dashboard workflows. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering partners across several different teams to shape and execute a range of design solutions for our merchant users.

• Understand user workflows and pain points, and produce, test and iterate on high quality designs to solve user needs
• Partner closely with product, engineering, marketing and strategy partners to define a north star and product experience for new features
• Prototype user experiences for testing and internal communication
• Collaborate with teams across Company to craft a seamless dashboard user experience
• Conduct UXR to test design decisions before shipping
• Collaborate with our design systems teams to leverage and improve page templates and components
• Who you are

• Has 4+ years relevant design experience at a product-driven tech company
• Has strong craft demonstrated through a portfolio of work
• Has experience designing data-rich UX
• Has experience collaborating closely with engineering teams
• Has experience collaborating with different partners across org lines
• Has a passion for turning complexity into usable, beautiful experiences
