The Revenue Accounting team is looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager to join our growing team. The Revenue Accounting Manager will own various revenue accounting close tasks as well as ad hoc order-to-cash initiatives and projects and assist with various system implementation and automation projects. This position reports to the Revenue Accounting Senior Manager and will work cross-functionally as a valuable member contributing to the Company’s continued growth and success.

• What You’ll Do:
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the revenue accounting function, with a focus on process improvements, automation and analysis of the business results to support the company’s scale and growth.
• Perform month-end close and reporting process for revenue, accounts receivable, allowances and deferred revenue to ensure an accurate and timely revenue close.
• Spearhead critical order-to-cash projects, including being a subject matter expert in revenue recognition for cross functional partners.
• Assess current practices and procedures, and assist with implementing scalable accounting processes to facilitate timely and accurate revenue reporting.
• Review sales arrangements to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606. Research, review, and draft technical accounting memos.
• Support external audits and continual improvement of SOX controls throughout revenue processes
• What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum of 6+ years revenue accounting experience with direct experience in the advertising or digital media/entertainment space; ideally, a public accounting/private industry mix
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or higher education equivalent; active CPA required
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills and comfortable with large data volumes
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP specifically of ASC 606s
• Hands-on experience with Netsuite, Salesforce and revenue automation tools.
• Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Able to work under time pressure, prioritize a high workload, and meet strict deadlines
• Positive attitude and flexibility to changing priorities, especially in the period of month/quarter/year-end closing.
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced and constantly changing environment

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission.
