• You'll work alongside our experienced maintenance veteran to learn how to maintain and repair specialized equipment, preparing to step into key responsibilities as he retires
• Maintain and repair locking mechanisms, gear & belt driven transmissions, bearing service and replacement
• Knowledge of oil, grease, and coolant applications for lubrication and heat dissipation
• Adherence to policies regarding disposal of hazardous material and safe storage
• Working knowledge of power tools, hand tools and common appliances
• Participate in ongoing operational, safety, and technical training programs
• As an understudy you will work closely with the maintenance lead person
• Actively Identifies potential safety hazards throughout the facility and implements preventative measures to avoid injuries and reduce the risk of future problems
• Willingness to assist or lead on any maintenance project and to assist in the development of junior level technicians
• Willingness to support three-shift operation
• Obtains our forklift certification and will be certified to train new maintenance and production forklift operators

This will be a day shift, with occasional infrequent off-shift support and is sometimes required to be on-call

• This role requires extensive training and is designed to transition into key responsibilities as a senior team member approaches retirement
• Experience with AC & DC electrical power supplies and control systems
• Working knowledge with three phase power supply
• Has proven experience with electrical troubleshooting and basic electrical testing procedures including continuity, resistance, capacitance, and inductance
• Grounding methods and verification
• AC & DC motors
• Transformers and regulators
• Power transmission and wire sizing
• General mechanical aptitude
• Experience with hydraulic & pneumatic systems
• Position is day shift, but very rare support may be needed on off shifts or weekends
• Should have a driver's license
