• The selected individuals will patrol and secure their assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons
• Candidates must have their own vehicle and be able to work in Gloucester, Hampton, Newport News and Williamsburg
• Be pleasant, courteous, and tactful
• Conduct themselves appropriately while on duty
• Hold the door if in a position to do so
• Direct customers to the appropriate line for appointments or walk-ins
• Attempt to verbally diffuse situations
• Be positioned in the lobby where they can best observe the customers and aid when necessary
• Shall raise the US and Commonwealth flags prior to opening and shall take down the US and Commonwealth flags after closing
• Make sure visitors sign in and escort them to the staff member they are there to see
• Defer to management when calling 911, unless it is an emergency and then immediately notify management and Company Force Project Manager
• Unlock doors at opening and lock doors at closing with the coordination of management
• Ensure the back door to the supply room is locked at closing
• Submit all incident reports to Project Manager within 2 hours of incident occurring
• Maintain a D.A.R to be sent to the Project Manager at the end of every shift
• Shall complete an incident report for all incidents

• Must have an active DCJS Armed Registration
• Must have reliable transportation
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload

Strong attention to detail

• The pay rate for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
• Saturday (0730-1300)
• We do not work Sundays or Holidays
