• Manage all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, settlement discussions, and trial preparation
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and related legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategy and support client objectives
• Appear at court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal team members
• Efficiently manage a caseload while maintaining high-quality work product and meeting deadlines
• Participate in settlement negotiations and provide strategic guidance to clients

Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with procedural and ethical standards

• This position is ideal for a motivated self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced litigation environment
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in civil litigation and insurance defense
• Strong academic background
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Demonstrated sound judgment, critical thinking skills, and ownership of assigned matters
• Excellent written, analytical, and verbal communication skills

Strong client service and relationship-management abilities

• Base salary range: $120,000 – $190,000 annually, commensurate with experience
