- As Inventory Control Manager, you will build and own Company's inventory control function from the ground up
This is a foundational role responsible for establishing the systems, processes, and physical controls required to accurately track critical electrical components—ranging from spare parts to breakers and switchboard inventory—supporting large-scale data center and infrastructure projects
- You'll operate in the "grey space" early on: balancing hands-on execution (scanning, picking, pulling, and tracking inventory) with higher-level system design, ERP integration, and team build-out
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, understands electrical supply chains, and is excited to create structure where little currently exists
- Build and own Company's inventory control function, establishing processes, controls, and systems from day one
- Design and implement inventory workflows for scanning, picking, pulling, tracking, and staging materials for production and data center projects
- Ensure accurate tracking of breakers, switchboard components, spare parts, and other critical electrical inventory
- Partner closely with Procurement and Production to support purchasing decisions, lead times, and material availability and ensure accurate material transactions
- Lead cycle counts, physical inventories, and discrepancy investigations to maintain high inventory accuracy
- Formalize incoming goods inspection and quality control processes to ensure material integrity
- Establish clear chain-of-custody, custodial controls, and physical inventory safeguards
- Support the selection, migration, and implementation of inventory systems, including MRP-to-ERP transitions and ERP sandbox testing
- Prepare the inventory organization for scale, including the upcoming ~400 switchboard project pipeline
- Hire, train, and develop inventory staff as volume and complexity grow
Provide inventory reporting, insights, and recommendations to Operations and Finance leadership
