• Work Expectations

Our baristas are expected to deliver high-quality beverages with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail while helping create a welcoming and memorable environment for every guest. This role requires strong memorization skills, the ability to learn recipes and workflows quickly, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency behind the bar. Team members should be comfortable standing for long periods of time, moving with urgency during busy rushes, and regularly lifting 20–30 pounds as part of daily café operations. A successful barista at Luma is dependable, coachable, attentive, and committed to upholding high standards in both product quality and customer service.
