As a Captain, you’ll lead your crew, operate passenger vessels safely and efficiently, and help create unforgettable experiences for our guests exploring the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.

Safely operate and dock vessels in varying weather and water conditions
Communicate effectively with crew, office staff, and management
Follow all U.S. Coast Guard and company safety protocols
Provide excellent customer service to all passengers
Lead by example and maintain a positive, professional attitude
Ensure crew members are supported, safe, and well-prepared
Adjust routes and schedules as needed for weather and conditions

Valid U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License (required)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience operating passenger vessels preferred
Must be safety-conscious and customer-service oriented
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays during the season

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
