In this role, you will operate a collection truck, providing timely and courteous waste removal for our valued customers
You will be responsible for ensuring your vehicle meets all safety standards and is compliant with Company, state, and federal regulations
Daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) will be required to ensure any issues are addressed promptly
Conduct thorough pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle following Company policy to ensure optimal tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, and controls are functioning correctly
Report any safety concerns promptly
Safely navigate your heavy truck along assigned routes to the disposal site, following provided route sheets or instructions from dispatch
Utilize manual and automatic controls in compliance with Company safety procedures to lift and load refuse and properly dispose of collected materials
Engage courteously with customers and colleagues daily to ensure all routes are serviced efficiently and professionally
Identify and address unsatisfactory waste containers by tagging them according to departmental procedures
Monitor waste continually for any unacceptable materials
Respond to accidental waste spills by arranging cleanup in accordance with safety standards and policies
Maintain optimal vehicle condition, ensuring it's ready for operation to minimize downtime, and clean the packer blade and truck body as needed
Complete all required reports, including route/productivity sheets and VCRs
Meet and maintain productivity standards to ensure timely service for all customers
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures diligently
Actively engage in the Company's ReSOP program
Perform any additional job-related duties as requested
Exhibit strong customer service skills to meet and exceed expectations, demonstrating professionalism and cooperation
Utilize effective time management skills to fulfill responsibilities safely and efficiently

Possession of a Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License with an air brakes endorsement
