• About the Opportunity
• Our client is seeking a full-time, in-person Chief Financial Officer for a Beverly Hills-based private company with approximately 50 entities across real estate, investments, and operating businesses.

This role reports directly to the CEO and is ideal for a hands-on, strategic finance leader who can oversee the company’s financial operations, strengthen the accounting function, improve reporting visibility, and help modernize the organization through automation and better systems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong multi-entity finance and accounting experience, deep familiarity with real estate operations and Yardi, and the ability to work closely with ownership, internal staff, and the outside tax accounting firm. This is a high-responsibility role for someone who is comfortable operating with urgency, energy, and accountability in a complex private-company environment.

They should be comfortable leading people, improving systems, working closely with tax advisors, and helping the CEO stay continuously informed through strong reporting and dashboards.

• Lead all accounting, finance, treasury, and reporting activities across approximately 50 entities
• Oversee and strengthen the accounting department in a complex private-company environment
• Manage financial operations, including two payrolls
• Supervise on-site staff and offshore team
• Develop and maintain timely financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for the CEO-owner
• Provide clear visibility into cash flow, liquidity, performance, entity-level activity, and key operating metrics
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis to support executive decision-making
• Oversee internal controls, financial discipline, and process improvement across the organization
• Interface directly with the outside tax accounting firm on tax planning, compliance, reporting, and structure
• Support oversight of a complex tax structure designed to optimize tax savings
• Oversee finance across real estate assets, investments, and operating companies
• Identify and implement automation and AI-driven process improvements to streamline workflows, reduce manual administrative burden, and help reduce or avoid additional headcount where appropriate
• Evaluate staffing, workflows, and systems to improve output with a leaner, more efficient team
• Improve financial infrastructure and reporting systems to support growth, visibility, and better decision-making

Operate reliably and responsively in support of a CEO with international travel demands

• Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in a complex environment
• Strong experience in multi-entity accounting and finance
• Direct experience with Yardi
• Experience in businesses with significant real estate holdings
• Experience working with outside tax accountants/CPA firms on complex structures and tax matters
• Experience managing both in-house and offshore accounting/finance staff
• Strong communication skills and ability to present financial information clearly to ownership
• High energy, strong urgency, and willingness to work extended hours when required

Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving, high-accountability environment

• Working knowledge of programming, development, scripting, or software systems
• Experience implementing automation tools in finance or accounting
• Familiarity with AI tools and practical business applications
• Experience building dashboards and executive reporting systems
• Required Experience:
• Finance in Real Estate: 3 years (Required)

• Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
• Pay: $142,695.00 - $205,256.00 per year
