• As a Cloud Engineering Manager for the BootStack team, you will manage engineers overseeing the managed service operations of customer environments
• You will drive product improvement engineering while collaborating with customers, product engineering, and external stakeholders
• Manage a growing engineering team to optimize quality and velocity of both development and operations
• Identify and measure team health indicators
• Implement disciplined engineering and operations processes
• Represent the BootStack team to stakeholders, customers, and external teams
• Ensure proper team focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables
• Work to meet service level agreements with global customer deployments

Deliver quality managed services in a consistent, timely manner

• Bachelor's (or equivalent) education in a technology field
• Proven experience with OpenStack
• Commitment to testing methodologies and maintaining code quality
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
• Experience working in and managing distributed teams
• Technical aptitude for understanding complex distributed systems and cloud technologies

Willingness to travel for team events and customer meetings (approximately 20%)

Proven track record in software delivery using Python, Go, C, C++, Java, or similar, and/or managing operations teams
