About the Role We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Foundation team — the engineers responsible for AWS infrastructure, networking, IaC, and Kubernetes foundations that every Hinge product team builds on.

You'll directly manage the 5-person Cloud Foundation team and serve as the infrastructure discipline manager for ~3 Platform ICs embedded across other Platform teams, roughly 8 reports in total.

As a member of the Platform leadership team, you'll approach infrastructure like a product — understanding the needs of your internal customers, shaping a roadmap that balances reliability and velocity, investing in the engineers behind the work, and staying close enough to the details to be a credible voice in design reviews and on-call retros.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance team strategy and execution — growing a high-performing team while staying grounded in the technical work that drives developer velocity, reliability, and cost efficiency.
