Velo3D seeks a Business Development Account Manager to drive adoption of additive manufacturing solutions within defense programs, acting as a dedicated technical resource for target customers.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as account manager for target customers in the defense industry
  • Lead innovative programs and applications in additive manufacturing from concept to production
  • Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams at target accounts as dedicated technical engineer and resource
  • Collaborate with Applications Engineering and Field Management to address complex part production challenges and execution logistics
  • Help accelerate adoption of Velo3D’s end-to-end manufacturing solutions

About the role

Position Overview: As a Business Development Account Manager, you will serve as the account manager for target customers, including clients in the defense industry, leading innovative programs and applications in additive manufacturing from early concept to full-scale production.

You will work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams at target accounts to act as their dedicated Velo technical engineer and resource. You will also collaborate with Velo Applications Engineering and Field Management to address complex part production challenges and execution logistics, helping accelerate the adoption of Velo3D’s end-to-end manufacturing solutions.
