The Perception team at Zoox is fundamental to our autonomous vehicle technology, creating the understanding of the world for our self-driving robots. We enable safe and efficient navigation in complex environments through sophisticated detection, classification, and tracking systems.
We are seeking highly motivated engineers who thrive on solving complex, real-world challenges and driving technical initiatives end to end. In this role, you will serve as a technical lead within a diverse, collaborative team focused on building scalable HD mapping algorithms, systems, and data pipelines.
As a Machine Learning Engineer on the Perception HD Mapping team, you will play a key role in advancing our 3D mapping capabilities. High-definition 3D maps are foundational to achieving fully autonomous driving, enabling safe and reliable navigation at scale.
Your leadership will be instrumental as we accelerate the expansion to new cities and significantly increase the speed and frequency of map updates, ensuring our mapping infrastructure scales efficiently with growing operational demands.
