About the role

Schedule : Wednesday to Saturday - 7:00 AM onward (may vary based on business needs) Location : 4951 - 110 Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta About the Role As a Jr. Quality Control Associate you will have a direct role in maintaining our product quality control and food safety processes.

Reporting to the FSQA Supervisor you will play a key role in ensuring our facility is able to make high-quality, safe, delicious meals for our customers. What you will be doing: Provide administrative support to the FSQA team Transfer data from a source to a document while maintaining high standards of legibility and accuracy.

Perform product weight checks and inputting the data Ensure accuracy of documents Play a key role in maintaining product traceability Work in compliance with OH&S acts and regulations. Use personal protective and safety equipment and clothing as directed by the employer and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer.

All other duties, as assigned At a minimum, you have: Strong organizational skills. Detail oriented. Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written Ability to prioritize, remain calm and alert, and write legibly while multitasking in a fast-paced and deadline oriented environment. Willing and able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.

Has experience with standing for prolonged periods of time including regular bending, twisting and walking Ability to work independently and within a team environment, in addition to having strong interpersonal skills Ability to work with a computer comfortable learning new technologies Willing and able to work in a refrigerated environment (0°C to 4°C) Previous experience or exposure (approximately 6 months) to Quality Control/Assurance processes in a food manufacturing environment is considered a strong asset.

This may include familiarity with QCA tasks such as product checks, data entry, and traceability. e. ). Whether this role is based out of our headquarters or one of our distribution centers, it is possible that you may be exposed to such allergens in this role.
