Travel: Up to 5 % Job ID: 1446 The Role The System Integration & Test Engineer is responsible for executing subsystem- and system-level integration and test activities across a range of hardware and software complexities. This role ensures that individual components and fully integrated systems perform according to requirements through structured verification and validation processes.
This position requires a strong combination of hands-on testing capability, systems thinking, and software/scripting proficiency to support automated testing, data acquisition, and analysis. The engineer will work closely with electrical, mechanical, optical, and software teams to troubleshoot issues, validate performance, and improve system reliability.
Responsibilities Execute subsystem and system-level test campaigns (functional, performance, environmental, acceptance) Develop and execute test plans and procedures from requirements Support system integration across electrical, mechanical, optical, and software domains Troubleshoot integration and test anomalies Monitor and analyze test data in real time Develop and maintain test scripts and automation tools Support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems Prepare and support TRR and TRB reviews Ensure documentation, traceability, and configuration control Improve test processes and infrastructure Qualifications Experience with integration and testing of complex hardware systems Experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, DAQ systems Troubleshooting of analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems Strong scripting skills (Python, MATLAB or similar) Data acquisition and analysis experience Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings Strong problem-solving and communication skills Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or similar) Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with automated test frameworks Linux and embedded systems familiarity Requirements-to-test translation experience Aerospace or defense background Spanish language skills Compensation The approximate base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,00 .
The total compensation package includes base salary, bonus, equity, and a range of benefits available on our career site. ** Compensation will vary based on individual factors such as education, qualifications, and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location, and calibration against relevant market data and internal team equity.
Posted base salary figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
