Job Summary This role is responsible for leading the design and evolution of enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure that underpins a large-scale data platform on AWS. As a Staff Engineer, you will define architectural standards, ensure alignment with security and compliance requirements, and enable multiple teams to build and operate reliable, scalable data systems.

You will work across organizational boundaries to influence platform direction, drive adoption of best practices, and ensure the infrastructure supports high-volume data ingestion, processing, and analytics workloads. The role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on technical leadership in building resilient, cost-efficient, and observable systems in a complex enterprise environment.

, S3, EKS/ECS, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, IAM, VPC) and enterprise cloud architecture Strong experience designing and operating large-scale data platforms (data lakes, lakehouses, batch and streaming systems) Advanced proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and automation practices Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS) in production environments Experience designing and operating API gateway, ingress, and service-to-service communication patterns in AWS environments, including authentication, authorization, throttling, routing, observability, and security controls.
