Be an impartial steward for the organization advocating for employees and the business, and modeling company values</li> <li>Guide and coach managers on how to appropriately manage and resolve complex people issues</li> <li>Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance</li> <li>Promote a culture of feedback and transparent communication, reinforcing our mission and core values</li> <li>Participate in in-person Nextdoor events such as trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and team building exercises</li> <li>Build in-person relationships with team members and contribute to Nextdoor’s company culture&nbsp;</li> </ul> <h4><strong>What You’ll Bring To The Team:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>7+ years experience in an HR Business Partner role, preferably in a fast-growing technology company</li> <li>Experience partnering with a Revenue team C-suite executive is a must.

Global experience is strongly preferred</li> <li>A collaborative, thoughtful leader who can operate at a strategic level but also perform operational/tactical responsibilities</li> <li>Experience working in a fast-paced, high-performance culture where the business is constantly evolving</li> <li>Proven ability to influence all levels of managers, think creatively, participate fully and work collaboratively to develop and execute programs</li> <li>Ability to think critically and anticipate issues before they arise, and proactively suggest long-term solutions</li> <li>Impeccable judgment and ability to balance the needs of the company, managers and employees</li> <li>Unquestioned integrity and a confident presence to effectively resolve sensitive employee issues</li> <li>A strong multi-tasker with an exceptional ability to prioritize and manage time effectively</li> <li>Comfortable with open communication and giving and receiving open, constructive feedback respectfully</li> <li>Previous experience in leading or partnering on organizational design efforts and change management planning</li> <li>Eagerness to explore and apply AI and emerging technologies to reimagine how work gets done</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Rewards</strong></h4> <p>Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create our total rewards package.

</p> <p>The starting base salary for this role is expected to range from $170,000 - $220,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. </p> <p>We expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. </p> <p>When it comes to benefits, we have you covered!
