Mars Wrigley - Gainesville, GA Title: Controls Technician Required Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift 2-2-3 Rotating Shift Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday Hours: 6pm - 6:30am Job Purpose: The Controls Technician is the PCIS systems owner for the production areas and responsible for eliminating maintenance and breakdown related losses

• The PCIS Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining all site equipment
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze and test applications for Factory Control systems
• Ability to work well with user departments to provide operational support in the use of HMI terminals, along with software applications on Control Systems
• Understanding of industrial networks including, but not limited to, Ethernet, Profibus, and ProfiNet
• In-depth knowledge of installation, programming, and troubleshooting of VFDs, Servo Drives, and sensors

Must have strong electrical troubleshooting skills of complex industrial manufacturing equipment

• Must have met time in role (12+ Months)

• Must be in good standing in current role
• 2-year Technical Degree/Certificate (Electrical/Electronic/Controls/Automation) or equivalent experience
• 1 + years Instrumentation & Electrical, Electronics, and Factory Controls & IT experience, including production system troubleshooting and problem resolution
• 1 + years experience in a controls function, working in a manufacturing environment
• Frequent lifting/carrying pushing (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling and gripping
• Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces
• Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift)
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Excellent communication skills required
• Good understanding of Rockwell 5000 and Siemens Step 7 Controls Systems environments including ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Factory Talk, and Step 7
• 2-year Technical Degree (Electrical/Electronic/Controls/Automation)
• 2+ years Instrumentation & Electrical, Electronics, or Factory Controls & IT experience, including production system troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Server Administration, Virtual Infrastructure Administration, & Database Administration knowledge

Possess or can obtain Operational Electrical Qualification Certificate (must be able to work independently on live electrical panels)
