• Maintain fixed asset accounting and capital project documentation in accordance with GAAP
• Calculate monthly depreciation expense and perform related reconciliations
• Review and approve fixed asset requisitions
• Prepare roll-forward schedules and audit support schedules
• Partner with Facilities, Technology, and Budget teams on capital expenditure coding and forecasting
• Maintain long-term debt schedules, including principal and interest payments
• Reconcile bank statements and bond-related accounts (deferred costs, bonds payable, premiums/discounts, trustee deposits)
• Post quarterly interest rate swap activity and interest income
• Assist with preparation of annual debt reports
• Reconcile payroll liability accounts and research discrepancies
• Prepare month-end accruals and balance sheet analysis

Identify and communicate unusual fluctuations or issues to management

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 1–3 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
