• Shift: Night shifts only
• Schedule: 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36–40 hours per week
• The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) is responsible for performing comprehensive sleep studies and administering therapeutic interventions for patients with sleep disorders in an acute care setting
• This role requires independent clinical judgment, strong technical skills, and adherence to established sleep laboratory protocols
• Conduct diagnostic sleep studies and monitor patients overnight
• Administer and manage therapies including CPAP, BiPAP, supplemental oxygen, and bilevel ventilation
• Prepare patients for sleep studies and ensure proper electrode placement
• Monitor sleep patterns, respiratory events, and physiological parameters
• Accurately document and chart findings using electronic medical records
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance throughout testing
• Follow departmental policies, workflows, and infection control standards

• Beds: 4 sleep beds

Patient Ratio: 1 technologist to 2 patients

• Weekends/Holidays: Not required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a sleep disorders or polysomnography setting
• Active North Dakota Respiratory Care License
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
• BLS/CPR certification
