The EMT will be responsible for providing Basic Life Support (BLS) care during the transports
This role requires a blend of safe driving skills, emergency medical knowledge, and the ability to assist with patient care
Emergency medical technicians will work closely with medical staff to ensure the safe, timely, and comfortable transport of patients to medical facilities
Basic Life Support (BLS) Care: Administer basic life support care as needed, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with patient comfort, and using medical equipment to ensure patient safety
Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient transport records, including documentation of times, locations, and any medical information relevant to the transport
Coordination with Dispatch: Communicate effectively with dispatch and medical staff to confirm transport details and ensure a smooth, coordinated effort
Patient Communication: Provide compassionate communication with patients and their families, addressing concerns, answering questions, and providing comfort throughout transport
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures during transport, ensuring both patient and staff safety at all times
Maintain Professionalism: Display professionalism, courtesy, and care when interacting with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and co-workers
