The individual in this position is expected to be fully competent to independently perform a full range of duties and must be flexible and able to evaluate and change priorities and provide effective problem-solving skills to respond to challenging HR-related situations
- Training and Experience: Two or more years’ personnel experience
- Must operate computer and calculator
- Two or more years of secretarial experience
- C. Job Knowledge: Knowledge of proper office procedures, rules of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Ability to type and a thorough understanding of hospital policies and procedures
- Ability to answer correspondence and to communicate well with visitors and callers
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills
- Ability to make logical and rational decisions
- Unusual Physical Demands and Working Conditions: A. Long periods of time spent sitting
B. Long periods of time using a computer resulting in UDT-induced eye strain. C. Numerous daily trips to the main hospital may be necessary
