  • The main responsibility of the intern is to assist Production Engineers in the development of the manufacturing process for new product through automation of data analysis used in various processes in the factory
  • Support Production Engineers in developing new manufacturing processes by automating data analysis used across factory workflows, enabling faster decision-making, and more effective presentations
  • Collect, clean, and analyze assembly/test data to create presentation‑ready datasets that improve process visibility and stability for new product introductions
  • Contribute to documentation and process development by assisting in drafting work instructions for data automation processes
  • The intern will be working with senior Production Engineer during this intern
  • You’ll have the flexibility and trust to choose how best to tackle tasks and solve problems
  • Identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements
  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Can work under deadlines
  • The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level
  • Must be willing to work a compressed work week schedule – twelve-hour long shift and rotating from three to four days a week

This must include references to day and night shifts for accommodation purposes

  • Student attaining at least a Bachelor's of Science in a Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, & Industrial/Manufacturing
  • High preference for candidates with a background in manufacturing

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work Business demands may require Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology
