• As a Principal Product Developer, you’ll guide the technical vision, architecture, and delivery of data automation & management products built on cloud-native and open-source platforms
• This role blends hands-on engineering, product alignment, and technical leadership at enterprise scale
• Lead architectural design for enterprise-grade automation and data management platforms
• Build scalable, secure, fault-tolerant software for complex enterprise environments
• Mentor engineers, drive best practices (CI/CD, testing, DevOps) and code quality
• Align with PM to define requirements, technical roadmaps, and release strategy
• Build cloud/multi-cloud integrations (AWS/Azure/GCP) and orchestration workflows
• Develop custom Airflow components (operators/DAGs), tooling, and deployment patterns
• Contribute directly to code, RFCs, design docs, and reviews

Advocate for modern engineering practices and open-source communities

• 10+ years of software engineering experience (3–5+ in tech leadership roles)
• Strong Python + modern backend frameworks
• Expertise in Apache Airflow (OSS), DAG authoring, deployment, and scaling
• Experience with distributed systems, workflow orchestration, and data automation
• Cloud proficiency (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Microservices + containers: Docker, Kubernetes

Data ecosystem familiarity (any mix of):

• RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
• DW (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• ETL/ELT: dbt, Spark, Databricks
• Object Storage: S3, GCS, ADLS
• Nice to have / differentiators
• LLM/AI awareness for automation or data-driven optimization
• OSS commercialization / productization experience
• Background building enterprise platforms consumed at scale
