• Fabrication and repair, working with the variety of materials found throughout the equipment and structure:
• Stainless steel fabrication and repair
• Aluminum fabrication and repair
• Ferrous metals fabrication and repair
• Industrial coatings, preparation for and application of
• Proper applications of caulking and grouting materials
• Utilization of assorted welding and cutting equipment
• Tig and stick welding
• Spot welders
• Oxy Acetylene and Plasma Torches
• Disassembly and assembly of plant equipment for cleaning repair
• Equipment changeovers for production requirements
• Repair and maintenance of pneumatic control systems

Shop area cleaning and organization

• High School Diploma or GED preffered
• Basic mechanical background, cutting and welding knowledge
• Trade school or military training helpful
• Understanding of basic electricity, its application in and industrial setting
