Responsible for overseeing end-to-end implementation and data migration of global payroll systems for clients
The role leads project setup, system configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate payroll delivery and compliance
This is an autonomous, client-facing role that requires project management, technical payroll knowledge, and strong communication skills
Organize and run kickoff meetings, create and maintain project plans, and deliver successful client roll-outs
Support and coordinate project review calls (internal and external), manage project streams, and handle scope or schedule changes
Define and set up client payroll processes, data requirements, and manage client payroll calendars timely and effectively
Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and process documentation
Define, agree and configure interfaces, reports, and system configurations to support parallel and live payroll runs for initial months
Coordinate go-live transition, obtain client sign-off, document client-specific needs and processes, and generate reports to analyze, audit, and reconcile payroll data
Map GL reports if required and act as the primary point of contact for payroll project matters with clients
Provide regular status reporting to senior leadership, escalate issues appropriately, and schedule/attend weekly client calls to report risks, actions, issues, and dependencies
Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of a global payroll system to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather payroll requirements and implement change management strategies for smooth transitions
Ensure payroll processes adhere to local tax and labor laws and keep up-to-date with regulatory changes
Work arrangement: remote flexibility; role supports global clients and requires coordination across teams and locations
The role requires adherence to data protection and privacy practices as outlined by the company

5+ years of experience in global payroll implementation and payroll operations
Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance across the designated location(s)
Experience with payroll systems and payroll-related software
Client-facing project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
