• Help to develop seasonal trend direction and color palettes for brands
• Conduct trend research for each collection through retail shopping, magazine tears, Internet research, etc
• Participate in product related meetings including creative direction and seasonal materials meeting
• Organize and label originals library for each season
• Coordinate fit testing for all brands
• Organize, track, and send all fit comments and forms to China team
• Review CFM samples and submit comments and approvals to our China team
• Select colors and materials, fill out spec sheets and submit China
• Help facilitate the development of new lasts and constructions seasonally for designated brands
• Potential travel to NY, Europe and Asia as needed to develop seasonal collections
• Source new materials and review selections with VP Product
• Write POs, track material shipments, manage material spreadsheet for each season
• Work with China team to track material inventory in sample room
• Manage leather samples and keep material boards organized
• Review production materials and coordinate with suppliers to resolve leather issues
• Maintain seasonal development calendar
• Manage development status reports and maintain records to track projects
• Create seasonal construction books for all brands
