- 12 Hour Rotating Shift
- Leads and integrates the efforts of a single team or multiple teams across all shifts responsible for all quality, safety, reliability and quantity of the line or lines which make up the value stream
- Responsible for sound people management, problem solving and project management skills
- Is responsible for producing finished goods or sub-assemblies for finished goods
- A team leader who helps coordinate activities and effectiveness of a group of machine operators as they complete their shift schedules
- The Production Coordinator would be an area expert who works autonomously within established procedures and practices
- Works directly with the Production Leader to create the daily and weekly production plan and supports the execution of the plan focused on associate capability and flawless execution
- In the absence of the Production Leader, performs the duties of the role demonstrating the necessary leadership behaviors
As the subject matter expert of the Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Daily Management Systems (DMS) provides guidance and training to Associates in these areas of expertise; including DMS, Clean Inspect Lubricate (CIL), Centerlines (CL’s), Abnormality Handling, and 5S
- Drives loss elimination of raw ingredients, packaging material, and finished goods through observation of production operations and by analyzing loss data to recommend solutions
- Participates in the execution of planned production “stops” to perform regular maintenance or other routine activities; coaches operators on the effectiveness of proactive planning versus unplanned breakdowns
- Production Coordinators effectively communicate with Value Stream Managers, CI Engineers, Maintenance Leads, and Quality & Safety Associates regarding decisions made to directly impact the productivity of work area
- Follow all GMP’s/PPE for site
