• In this role, you will contribute to the development of next-generation Empower data systems and data collaboration software Apps in a cloud computing environment
• You will implement chromatography data processing algorithms, including peak integration, calibration, and quantitation, while incorporating AI/ML capabilities
• Waters is looking for engineers with strong computational skills, a passion for learning, and the ability to deliver high-performance scientific software at scale
• Implement chromatography data processing algorithms in a cloud environment
• Senior-level experience as a Chromatography Data Processing Engineer
• Apply object-oriented programming best practices to maintain and develop codebases
• Migrate algorithms from legacy C++ to modern code, including writing unit tests and exploiting parallelism for performance
• Work with product stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables
• Contribute to technical documentation, reports, patent applications, and transferable protocols
• Communicate project progress and provide regular updates to leadership

Participate in the agile software development process

• Experience with AWS Cloud
• Strong programming skills in C# or C++
• 5+ years’ experience implementing algorithms for scientific applications and large data sets
• Familiarity with Python and AI/ML concepts
• Experience with numerical methods, regression analysis, and statistics

Experience with development tools including Visual Studio, GitHub, and JIRA

Salary: $155,500 per annum
