• The TDS Proteins Development DPD organization is seeking a candidate to develop computational and small-scale models to support filing of pharmaceutical products
• In this role, the Co-Op will..
• Research factors that affect formulation properties and equipment parameters
• Learn and become proficient on lab equipment including viscometers, densitometers, etc
• Design and execute studies including development of test fixtures (3D printing, small scale equipment design, etc)
• Develop models including computation software and/or statistical models (R, Minitab, etc)
• Draft technical reports summarizing the work to help provide platform guidance
• Analyze and interpret experimental results using analytical and statistical techniques
• Actively participate in weekly meetings with internal and external collaborators
• Participate in technical discussions on design of experiments to fill gaps in knowledge
• Maintain a laboratory notebook and other technical documents according to required guidelines

Provide other project support as needed

• Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of a co-op assignment pursuing a Bachelor’s or equivalent experience, Master’s, or PhD degree or equivalent experience
• Candidate must have previous process engineering experience
• Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., FI, H1-B status)
• Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills is required
• Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while performing results
