Our SaaS client is looking to hire a fully remote SAP Basis Admin
This role involves managing and supporting SAP systems hosted on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring secure connectivity and integration with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to ensure secure connectivity between on-prem and cloud
Upgrades & Patching
Plan and execute system upgrades, enhancement packs, support packs, and kernel upgrades
Ensure minimal downtime through effective cutover planning and system copies
Conduct regression testing and validation post-upgrade
Support integration of BTP services with on-premise and cloud SAP systems
Ensure security, connectivity, and performance of BTP-based applications
Manage SAP authorizations, roles, and profiles
Conduct audits and vulnerability assessments
Operations & Support
Manage system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
Troubleshoot issues across SAP applications, DBs , and OS layers
Collaborate with functional/technical teams for smooth operations
Manage client copies, system refreshes, transport management, performance tuning, and user administration
Monitor system health, logs, and jobs to ensure optimal performance
