At Dropbox, we believe in simplifying the way people work together across multiple products. As a Staff Engineer on the Multi-Product Experience (MPE) team, you will architect and deliver the core systems that unify how customers discover, purchase, trial, and manage Dropbox’s expanding product suite.
You will play a critical role in designing the technical foundations that support subscription lifecycle management, entitlements, identity, and cross-product admin workflows. You’ll partner closely with Product, Design, Engineering Managers, and senior technical leaders across Core to shape long-term architecture while delivering near-term improvements that increase conversion, reduce friction, and unlock expansion opportunities.
This role provides deep technical ownership, cross-org visibility, and the opportunity to define the future of how Dropbox’s products work together. You’ll thrive if you enjoy ambiguous problem spaces, system-level design, and building scalable, user-facing commerce and identity systems.
Many teams at Dropbox run Services with on-call rotations, which entails being available for calls during both core and non-core business hours. If a team has an on-call rotation, all engineers on the team are expected to participate in the rotation as part of their employment. Applicants are encouraged to ask for more details of the rotations to which the applicant is applying.
