• Tasks include delivering training courses for external and internal customers on highly technical laser systems, teleconference or online delivery
• They will also participate in curriculum development projects, procedure validation, laser service, test equipment maintenance and tool control
• Delivers in-house, onsite training for Cymer’s internal and external customers
• Conducts technical knowledge and skills training for field service engineers
• Serves as a multiple platform Instructor to deliver knowledge and skills training on product offerings
• Performs service, maintenance and troubleshooting on department LASERs to maintain a ready for training status
• Utilizes and maintains test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVMs, power meters and beam analysis tools
• Orders and transacts parts in oracle
• Assists development team with preparing effective training content; videos and CBTs
• Enforces all safety policies and procedure to ensure safe environment for training
• Conducts and reports student evaluations for new hire students to Lead Trainer and Training Manager
• Collects and analyzes data for troubleshooting purposes as part of training delivery and laser maintenance
• Runs LASER status/health reports as instructed
• Participates with Lead Instructor to resolve training department LASER issues
• Although the primary responsibility is technical training, this position is also responsible for participating in the curriculum development and learning administration process
• Curriculum development and learning administration skills include:
• Participates in needs analysis studies to determine training requirements for the field
• Conducts validations of processes, procedures and curriculum
• Processes class attendance in Learning Management System
• You’ll have the flexibility and trust to choose how best to tackle tasks and solve problems
• Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements
• Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch
• Occasionally required to move around the campus
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent field; or equivalent years of working experience
• 2-3 years of experience as a technical/vocational instructor or in the field, in the semiconductor industry

Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members
