- The PMO Associate is a critical member of our project delivery team, responsible for supporting the implementation and management of economic impact programs on behalf of our construction industry clients
- This role combines project coordination, stakeholder management, data analysis, and client relationship development to ensure successful program execution and measurable community impact
- This position requires local/regional travel to client sites, flexible availability including evenings and weekends, and a passion for creating pathways to opportunity for underrepresented suppliers and communities
- Project Management & Coordination (40%)
- Support workstream leads by coordinating meetings, tracking issues, and ensuring timely reporting
- Prepare status reports for clients and project owners on scheduled deadlines
- Maintain accurate records for spend projections and actual expenditures with underrepresented suppliers
- Develop and manage project documentation including plans, timelines, and action item logs
- Create meeting agendas and facilitate stakeholder coordination meetings
- Monitor project risks and proactively identify mitigation strategies
- Data Analysis & Reporting (25%)
- Track and report on economic impact metrics including underrepresented supplier spend, participation rates, and compliance indicators
- Analyze leading and lagging indicators to assess program effectiveness
- Create compelling data visualizations and presentations for client deliverables
- Maintain databases tracking supplier qualifications, project packages, and forecasting data
- Prepare bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports that communicate program value and outcomes
- Ensure compliance with economic impact policies and client requirements
- Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement (25%)
- Develop and maintain relationships with underrepresented suppliers, Tier 1 contractors, and resource partners
- Identify and engage qualified underrepresented suppliers for construction project opportunities
- Conduct outreach via phone campaigns, emails, and in-person meetings to build supplier pipeline
- Facilitate connections between suppliers and project opportunities
- Attend networking events, conferences, and community engagement activities to represent TWG
- Support teaming and joint venture opportunities between underrepresented suppliers
- Strategic Support & Problem-Solving (10%)
- Research and identify resource partners (financial institutions, CDFIs, technical assistance providers)
- Troubleshoot supplement and replacement challenges when suppliers face capacity issues
- Contribute to the development of innovative economic impact strategies
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for client programs
