• Build the core drawing experience of Zoom Whiteboard, shipping fast, smooth, real-time features
• Designing and building real-time whiteboard features with React or Vue
• Optimizing Canvas and WebGL rendering for smooth, low-latency drawing and interaction
• Profiling and improving performance and memory across browsers and devices
• Collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver polished, accessible experiences
• Evolving frontend architecture and tooling to scale reliability and speed
• Instrumenting analytics and experiments to guide product decisions and quality

Reviewing code and mentoring teammates to raise the technical bar

• Bring strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills with a modern framework like React or Vue, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 4+ years in frontend development
• Write high-quality, well-tested UI code and reusable components
• Optimize graphics-heavy UIs using Canvas or WebGL, or learn quickly with guidance
• Ship end-to-end features for real-time or collaborative web apps
• Partner closely with Design, Backend, and QA to align on outcomes
