As a Senior Purchasing Coordinator, you will take on a key responsibility in supporting our NA Supply Chain Operations which spans various HelloFresh brands, contributing to our ongoing efforts to drive business success and enhance customer satisfaction.

- What you’ll do
- Collaborate with HelloFresh buyers, distribution centers, offsite production, and suppliers to guarantee on-time delivery of ingredients and ensure category excellence.
- Place purchase orders to allocated vendors for a variety of food or packaging Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), at the correct price, quantity, buffer, etc. provided by buyers & supply planners in NA
- Support the end-to-end project management of new HelloConnect task requests, ensuring timely execution through the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), team training, and strict alignment with business objectives
- Pull deep-dive analyses and propose data-driven continuous improvements for supply chain efficiency
- Provide NA cross-functional coverage to ensure operational stability across different category areas.
- Promptly notify suppliers of distribution center rejections, detailing the cause and managing the resolution process while providing continuous updates to all internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate and track cycle count requests with the Distribution Center (DC), ensuring clarity in initial communication and providing timely status updates to buyers.
- Identify inventory risk within our inventory management tool, propose data-driven solutions to buyers, and ensure timely execution of approved corrective actions.
- Partner closely with the Inbound Logistics team to monitor and track the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for all Purchase Orders (POs) scheduled to land daily.
- Accountability for key performance metrics
- Define and execute necessary audit checks to ensure orders are complete and accurate before sending to suppliers
- Manage supplier queries and performance through clear communication, monitoring and reporting
- Maintain the confidentiality of our data and uphold the integrity of our business. Identify and correct data inaccuracies
- Support on additional day to day tasks as needed, stepping in to cover other category areas or cover absences when required
- Remain flexible to changing duties and responsibilities as business needs vary
- What you’ll bring
- At least 18 months as a Purchasing Coordinator or other relevant experience
- Requires expertise in operating Microsoft Office programs, and ideally ERP/MRP systems
Language: English, other European languages considered a plus (German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian)
