• This vital leadership role will build a world-class finance foundation to support our company’s scale, compliance, and readiness for transitioning to a public company
• You will work closely with the CFO and executive leadership to establish systems, controls, and processes that promote disciplined, data-driven growth
• Lead the global accounting organization to establish a finance function ready for public company standards
• Ensure continuous improvement in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to deliver accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant results
• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of global financial statements, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and relevant reporting standards
• Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation for SOX readiness and auditing requirements
• Collaborate with external auditors for smooth annual and interim audits
• Manage global subsidiary accounting, consolidations, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency transactions
• Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, HR, and GTM teams to ensure financial data accuracy and compliance
• Drive enhancements in accounting systems and automation initiatives for improved efficiency and scalability
• Provide technical guidance for complex transactions, including revenue recognition and equity compensation
• Act as a strategic partner to the CFO, supporting capital markets readiness and external disclosures

Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing accounting team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role at a global SaaS or technology company
• Deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 (revenue recognition) and ASC 718 (stock-based compensation)
• Proven experience in building and scaling accounting processes in preparation for IPO or public company standards
• Demonstrated success in implementing internal controls and SOX readiness initiatives
• Hands-on experience with modern ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and understanding of system integrations and reporting
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working with executive leadership and remote teams
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a strategic mindset for fast-paced, evolving environments

• The typical starting salary for this role in the US is $225,000 - $300,000 USD, and for Premium Markets, the range is $255,000 - $330,000 USD
