The Proof Account Executive is a hunter sales role focused on driving new revenue within the property management sector. This position is responsible for generating new business (approximately 70%) and expanding existing accounts (approximately 30%) by selling Proof’s platform to property management companies.
- This is not a property management role—this is a quota-carrying sales position for someone who thrives in outbound prospecting, owns their pipeline, and is motivated by winning new logos.
- What You’ll Do
- New Business Development (70%)
- Build and execute a consistent outbound strategy to generate new pipeline
- Prospect and engage property management companies through calls, email, LinkedIn, and events
- Identify key decision-makers and quickly establish strong relationships
- Run full-cycle sales: discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Travel to client sites, industry events, and conferences to generate and close new business
- Account Expansion (30%)
- Manage and grow a baseline book of business through upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Expand adoption within existing customers (new users, locations, or service lines)
- Partner with Customer Success to drive retention and long-term account growth
- Sales Execution & Collaboration
- Create and execute a 30-60-90 day plan aligned to quota attainment
- Maintain a strong, consistent sales process and pipeline hygiene in CRM
- Accurately forecast and report on progress toward goals
- Collaborate closely with SDRs/BDRs and cross-functional teams to drive revenue
- Use data and insights to continuously improve sales approach and outcomes
- What You Bring
- 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience (SaaS, marketplace, or similar preferred)
- Proven success in outbound prospecting and new logo acquisition
- Experience managing full sales cycles and maintaining deal velocity
- Strong discovery, storytelling, and closing skills
- Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder deals and complex buying processes
- Experience selling into property management companies is a plus (but not required)
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel 50-60%
Compensation & Benefits $170,000-$200,000 OTE
