• The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the organization’s accounting operations
• This role requires proficiency in Blackbaud Financial Edge (or other Blackbaud accounting solutions) to manage general ledger activities, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
• Utilize Blackbaud Financial Edge for posting transactions, generating financial reports, and maintaining the general ledger
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities using Blackbaud tools
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Support annual audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries
• Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies

Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and reporting as needed
