• We’re hiring a Traveling Quality Inspector to ensure top-quality fabrication and installation on mechanical projects nationwide
• Review project drawings and technical specifications for compliance
• Develop and manage QA/QC plans and documentation
• Lead pre-installation meetings and weekly quality reviews
• Conduct on-site inspections and testing (welds, bolts, pressure tests)
• Oversee third-party evaluations and enforce corrective actions
• Maintain inspection records, certifications, and quality reports
• Coordinate sampling/testing schedules and support project closeout
• Schedule & Travel
• Onsite for project duration

Home travel every 3–4 weeks for 2–3 days

• Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills for team and partner collaboration
• 3+ years' experience in mechanical quality inspection (HVAC, piping, plumbing, sheet metal)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical tasks safely
• Expertise in interpreting drawings, specifications, and test results
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills

Willingness to travel to job sites and fabrication shops as needed
