The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of teams that is focused on the discovery of novel therapeutics through support of molecular profiling, de-risking strategies, formulation development and communication across discovery functions and downstream to development partners

• The main responsibilities will be to carryout critical biologics profiling and early formulation/preformulation development experiments
• Development of novel drug delivery technologies will also occur
• Opportunities to also support small molecules in a similar way will also be possible
• The candidate will contribute in lab driving experimental execution applying scientific rigor
• The candidate will have the opportunity to develop innovative research as well to further refine our workflows and applied science initiatives to keep the DPS team at the forefront of Pharmaceutics assessment at the discovery interface

• Strong academic background will also be considered

Demonstrated patent and/or peer reviewed publication record

It is beneficial if the candidate possesses experience related to various aspects of drug product development (i.e. formulation and process development, biopharmaceutics, analytical methods, regulatory considerations, and competitive landscape) with a drive to apply novel technologies while working at the laboratory bench

• Ph.D., M.S. with +3 years or BS with +7 years in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, chemical / biochemical engineering, or related disciplines

Demonstrated experience solving program challenges by leveraging strong scientific fundamentals in related subject areas including organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, biopharmaceutics, process development, and/or engineering

• The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States

Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education $114,700.00 - $180,500.00 Available benefits include bonus eligibility, long term incentive if applicable, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days
