- Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to support the leadership team and provide day-to-day oversight within the accounting department
- This role will review and guide the work of staff and senior accountants, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support monthly and annual close processes across multiple entities
- The position also handles research on GAAP and tax matters, prepares nonprofit tax filings, and assists with audit requests and management reporting
- Provide oversight and direction to accounting staff, ensuring adherence to established processes and controls
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Assist with monthly close, including preparation of journal entries and financial statements for multiple entities
- Conduct research on GAAP, tax regulations, and complex accounting issues
- Prepare information for external audits and internal management reporting
- Assist with nonprofit tax filings (including 990s) and other regulatory reporting
- Develop analyses and ad hoc reports as needed
Support ongoing process-improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
