We are seeking a talented and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team.   • Prepare a variety of sushi and Japanese dishes with precision and artistry, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Select fresh ingredients for sushi preparation, including fish, vegetables, rice, and seaweed
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and notifying management of supply needs
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours

Uphold the restaurant’s standards for food handling, hygiene, and safety regulations at all times

  • Strong knife skills with the ability to handle delicate ingredients precisely
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food presentation techniques specific to sushi and Japanese cuisine
  • Excellent food preparation skills including cooking and food service experience
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of the food industry standards related to kitchen operations and food safety regulations
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation practices
  • Required Experience:

Proven experience in fine dining or restaurant settings as a Sushi Chef or similar culinary role
