• This role will report directly to the Controller and play a key role in supporting the company's revenue cycle and general accounting functions using Deltek
• The ideal candidate will have experience with invoicing, cash applications, and customer account management, while also assisting with month-end close and general ledger activities
• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in Deltek in accordance with contracts, billing schedules, and company policies
• Manage accounts receivable processes, including applying customer payments, monitoring aging reports, and following up on past-due balances
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Maintain customer accounts in Deltek vantangepoint, ensuring accurate setup, billing terms, and supporting documentation
• Reconcile the accounts receivable subledger to the general ledger and investigate variances
• Prepare and post journal entries related to revenue, cash receipts, and billing adjustments
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations
• Support cash flow forecasting by providing AR status updates and collection metrics
• Collaborate with project managers, sales, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely billing
• Maintain organized billing and AR records to support audits and internal controls
• Assist with financial reporting, including AR aging, revenue schedules, and management reports

Coordinate with external auditors and accounting partners as needed
